Anne Gregory
This world said goodbye to my older brother, Paul Gregory, today. Very sudden, and hard to accept. Paul was on a cruise of the Rhine in Germany, along with Doris Gregory, his wife and my sister-in-law. He collapsed while they were walking to the local Christmas market in Rudesheim am Rhein, and died shortly after that at a local hospital. Their daughter, Beth Gregory Dixon, is now on her way there to be with her mom, and help with what’s next. Lots of tears and prayers on this Thanksgiving Day.
Paul Eliot Gregory, b. July 14, 1954, Minneapolis, MN. Alum of Brown University, Providence, RI 1976. Married Doris Brauer Dec. 19, 1980 in St. Paul, MN. Four children: David Gregory, Matthew Brauer, Beth Anne (Elizabeth Anne) Dixon (ISB ’99), and Jonathan Gregory (ISB ’02). Paul was a chemist for 3M almost all his adult life, including 4 years in Singapore and 6 years in Bkk. Retired in MN. Died November 28, 2024 in Rudesheim am Rhein, Germany. Secretly generous to a number of family members and friends. Fount of historical and scientific facts. Great cook. Unbelievably beloved grandfather. Much loved spouse, father, and brother. ❤️
