Paula Dahlke Obituary Paula Marie Dahlke, 74, of Durango, Colorado, died 3/15/2025, at home, Born 2/12/1951. A service will be held at 3:30 p.m. on April 9, 2025 at Durango church of Christ 2100 West 3rd Ave. Durango, CO 81301. She is survived by her husband, Dennis; four siblings: Tim (Ann Beauprec) Schulz, Edmund Schulz, Gloria Schulz and Kathleen Strawn, her three children; Remy, Daniel, and Rachel (Clark), extended family and wonderful friends. Paula’s love for her family, friends and relatives was paramount in her life. She loved her health care clients and treated them with love and respect.

It is with a heavy heart that I have to announce that mom passed away on Friday. She died at her most favorite place, at her desk by her laptop. Her death was unexpected and we are all deeply saddened by her passing.
Her Facebook will remain as is. It was more than a website for mom. It was her way of showing her thoughts, her happiness, her sadness and her life.
She will be cremated on Saturday and in according to her final wishes, will be placed at a family plot in the United States. The service will be recorded and if wish to see it, don’t hesitate to reach out (mike.hamers@yahoo.com)

Carol (Black) Gauvin, of Tampa, Fla., passed away on April 21, 2025, with her husband by her side.
She was the beloved wife of Michael Gauvin. Born in Pawtucket, R.I., Carol was the daughter of the late LTC Leahman Black and Eileen (Sweetland) Black. She graduated from Cumberland High School in 1969.
Carol is survived by her husband, Michael; son, Brandon (Barbie) Gauvin; daughter, Michelle Gauvin; and cherished grandson, Ryker.
She is also survived by her aunt, Joan Winters; brothers, Thomas (Rae) Black, and Michael (Connie) Black; sister, Maureen (John) O’Hara; sister-in-law Patricia (Anthony) Colantonio; brother-in-law Glen Gauvin, and nieces and nephews.
Carol is preceded in death by her parents, Lee and Eileen; her in-laws Joseph and Agnes Gauvin; sister Sharon, and nieces Eileen Gorst and Kristin Holmes.
A celebration of Life will be planned by the family.

Late in the night of Sunday, April 14th, 2025, Jenis Calvin McMillan II, aged 71, peacefully passed away in his sleep.
Jen led a very happy, active life filled with family, friends, and many activities, such as golfing and gardening.
Jen is preceded in death by his father, Jenis and his mother, Agnes. He is survived by his wife, Caroline; their child, Stephanie; his sisters, Terri, Patricia, and Susan; as well as many cousins, nephews, and nieces. He was the proud Grandpa to two grandchildren.
It was Jen’s desire to be cremated and to have his urn laid to rest at Fairview Cemetery in Bastrop, Texas. A celebration of life will be held in his honor at a later date.

Andrea Christine Bell, a radiant light born on Christmas Eve in 1969, in Fort Bragg, North Carolina, has departed from us on April 23, 2025. Known as simply Andrea to her friends, family, and community in Russellville, Arkansas, she was a woman of immense warmth, resilience, and spirit, radiating love and compassion in everything she did, just as poet Maya Angelou once said, “I’ve learned that people will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel.”
Andrea’s journey was a testament to her strength and determination. She faced life with courage, grace, and an unwavering spirit. Even after her divorce, her resiliency never faltered; she continued to be a beacon of hope and inspiration to those around her. Her smile could light up a room and her laughter was infectious. She embodied the words of Helen Keller, “Character cannot be developed in ease and quiet. Only through experience of trial and suffering can the soul be strengthened, vision cleared, ambition inspired, and success achieved.”
She is lovingly remembered by her brother, Scott Bell. Andrea was preceded in death by her parents, Nova and Garnett Bell. Her radiant spirit will undoubtedly be missed yet, her impact and the memories she left behind will continue to inspire and encourage those who had the privilege of knowing her.
We encourage those who knew Andrea to share their memories and upload photos on her memorial page. The stories of her vibrant life, love, and enduring spirit will continue to inspire us all. As we remember Andrea, let us hold onto the words of Albert Pike, “What we have done for ourselves alone dies with us; what we have done for others and the world remains and is immortal.”

I have a sad news to share. Andrea Christine Bell who attended ISB 1981 ~ 1987 passed away yesterday. She was 55 years old.
She has been undergoing treatment for breast cancer and almost beat it but died of heart attack, according to her longtime friend from teenage years in Arkansas. Thanks to all those who took time to write to her last year. Thank you for helping brighten her last days (her friend’s words). I’ll share her obituary here once it’s posted online.
