Trish Caulfield Watson ~ Class of 1973

Departed ~ 06/18/2015 ~ Cancer

Trish Caulfield ISB Class of ’73 (1968-1970) died June 18, 2015 of cancer. Trish was my sister in law. She was the first person I met when we arrived in Bangkok. Later I met her brother and our lives were linked together by marriage.

Trish was a great animal lover. She began training the khmoy dog and a duck at her Thai house on Soi 49. She was an accomplished horsewoman, cowgirl and owner of every stray animal within 10 miles of wherever she lived. She is survived by two sons and 6 grandchildren. Karen Lee “Kacy” Crans ~ Class of 1971

Arrived ~ 06/26/1953

Departed ~ 03/25/2015

Kacy and I were close friends in Thailand, we would often stay up all night talking. Joel M., Mark B. and I visited her in 1971 at Selfridge AFB where Colonel Crans was stationed; we had a grand time. After that we fell out of touch but reunited in 1991. We chatted often through 2008 but sadly, we fell out of touch again.  About one year before her death we spoke two occasions, I wish I had made a better attempt to stay in touch. I will always miss your smile and contagious laugher, Kacy. Till we meet again, Chaiyo! DAW
