I'm sorry to hear this, as well. My condolences to Khun Ott and his other son. Roger helped me in ways I cannot begin to explain and introduced me to Khunying Khanitha whom we lost not long ago to cancer. I'll always remember him fondly and our trips to Nasothorn, Boon Bang Fai and the elephant festival. Roger was from San Francisco. He was a writer, as well. Served as a monk for a while on Koh Pha Ngan and wrote regularly for Reader's Digest and also had a few books published. . . the most familiar being "the Thai and I" which every expatriate found entertaining and valuable! I will miss him greatly.

Roger, who taught at ISB from 1970-81, will be remembered as an inspiring teacher, a true humanitarian and as an organizer of memorable ISB field trips throughout Thailand.
